Terms of Use

1. The service

Kittylog provides cat profiles, a health index, feeding, water and litter logs (including auto feeders, water fountains and self-cleaning litter boxes), cat toys, a care guide and an expense ledger. Core features are free, and the free plan includes 1 cat.

Members get unlimited cats, 8 extra member sounds, the Tangerine, Carmine Pink and Melancholy Blue color themes, the Apple Watch app, iCloud Sync (between iPhone and iPad) & Backup, and PDF ledger export.

2. Membership and subscriptions

• There are two options: Yearly Membership (an auto-renewable subscription with a 1-year period) and Lifetime Membership (a one-time purchase that never renews). Prices are shown on the App Store purchase sheet (China mainland: ¥15 per year and ¥49 lifetime).
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
• The yearly subscription renews automatically within 24 hours before the end of the current period at the same price (Apple will notify you of any change), unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel on iPhone or iPad in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. After cancelling, membership stays active until the end of the current period.
• On a new device or after reinstalling, tap “Restore Purchases” in Me → Membership. Membership supports Family Sharing.
• If membership ends, your data (including cats you already added) stays on your device, but you can no longer add cats; member sounds, the Apple Watch app, iCloud Sync & Backup and PDF export stop working, and the color theme switches back to the free Cream Green.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

3. Account

No account is needed to use the app. Sign in with Apple is optional and the sign-in information is stored only on your device. You can sign out or delete your account by tapping the account card on the Me tab. Deleting the account removes the sign-in information and your cat data, records, ledger and backups on this device and in your iCloud; this cannot be undone. Purchases belong to your Apple Account and are not affected.

4. Health information disclaimer

Illness guidance, the Health Index, Health Radar, lifespan and weight estimates, refill and cleaning estimates for devices, and recipes are for reference only and are not a substitute for a licensed veterinarian. Please see a vet when your cat is unwell.

5. Acceptable use

Do not reverse engineer the app or use it for unlawful purposes.

6. Intellectual property

The app’s design, icons, text, images and code belong to the developer. Sounds from BigSoundBank.com (Joseph SARDIN) and Freesound.org, all CC0 public domain.
